Bulan-Sogottu is a small settlement on the northern shore of Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan's Issyk-Kul Region, a short drive east of Cholpon-Ata. It serves mainly as a lakeside holiday base rather than a major urban center. With direct access to the lake, open views across the water, and the Tian Shan mountains in the background, it offers a calm, outdoor-focused setting for holidays and short stays.

Bulan-Sogottu is known primarily for its access to Issyk-Kul and for offering a quieter stay than the larger resort centers. Visitors come for swimming, shore walks, and relaxed time on the beach, especially in summer when tourism is at its busiest. Accommodation is typically in small resorts, guesthouses, and holiday properties, and many travelers also use the settlement as a base for short excursions to Cholpon-Ata, including its open-air petroglyph site.

Road transport is the main way to reach Bulan-Sogottu. The settlement lies east of Cholpon-Ata and is usually accessed by road along the north shore of Issyk-Kul. For nearby trips, visitors generally rely on taxis or shared local transport, and Tamchy airport is within driving distance along the north shore.
