If you want to see Turkey's most significant and vibrant attractions, learn about its history, and relax in a comfortable hotel on the Mediterranean coast, this tour is for you. 2 nights in the enchanting city of Istanbul at the Pullman or Mercure hotel on a bed-and-breakfast basis, and 5 nights in sunny Antalya on an all-inclusive basis.
During a sightseeing tour of Istanbul, you will visit the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque by tourists. It is the largest mosque of the 17th century and one of the first multi-minaret mosques in the world. You will also visit the Suleymaniye Mosque, as well as the tombs of Suleiman the Magnificent and Hurrem Sultan.
You will explore the Topkapi Palace, the residence of Ottoman sultans from where they ruled the empire and made decisions that shaped the world's fate for 400 years. You will also visit Istanbul’s central square, the site of the former Roman hippodrome, which was second in grandeur only to the one in Rome. The hippodrome’s dividing barrier was once adorned with the most striking monuments from around the world, and you will have the chance to see these landmarks: the Egyptian Obelisk, the Serpent Column, and the Obelisk of Constantine. And, of course, you will have the opportunity to take a Bosphorus cruise and admire Istanbul’s beauty from the sea.
