The square is a wide open area with paving, a central composition of monuments, and a spacious zone for mass events. It is convenient for viewing the city's architecture, observing the everyday life of the center, and photographing one of Bishkek's most recognizable views. A particularly striking element of the space is the tall flagpole, which is clearly visible from different points of the square.
During a walk around the square, you can see the Manas monument, memorial objects, and the surrounding administrative buildings.
