The Old Plane Tree in Inkaya is located in the Osmangazi district, on the slope along the road from central Bursa toward Mount Uludag. Inkaya was once a separate village, and today it is an urban part of Bursa that is easy to visit on the way to the mountain areas. In Turkish, the tree is known as Inkaya Cinar.
It is an Oriental plane tree, considered one of the oldest and best-known trees in the city. Its age is usually estimated at around 600 years, its height at about 35 meters, and the trunk circumference at approximately 9-10 meters. The tree is protected as a natural monument, and some of its large branches are supported by metal props to reduce the load and preserve the old trunk.
There is an observation terrace and a rest area with cafes and tea gardens for visitors nearby. Not only tourists but also Bursa residents come here to stop briefly, drink tea, and see one of the city's most remarkable old trees. The place is especially convenient for a short stop before a trip to Uludag or after returning to central Bursa.

The area around it is adapted for a short visit: there are places to sit, drink tea, or stop during a trip. People usually come here for 15-30 minutes to rest and look at the tree without a long walk. This is not a park in the full sense of the word, but a compact stopping point with a view of one of Bursa's oldest plane trees.
The road toward Uludag begins nearby, and there are also residential quarters and viewing points on the slopes of Bursa. The easiest way to get here is by taxi or car from central Bursa, as well as along the route toward the cable car and the mountain areas.
