Kizilagac Travel Guide
Kizilagac, Side
Kizilagac is a district of Side in Turkey's Mediterranean Region. It is a coastal resort area on the Mediterranean shore, east of Side and Manavgat, about 15 km from Side. The landscape is flat and centered on a resort strip of large beachfront hotels, holiday complexes, and low-rise local buildings along the coastal road.
Kizilagac is known primarily for its beachfront resorts and all-inclusive holiday complexes. Visitors come for beach breaks focused on swimming, sunbathing, hotel pools, and family-friendly facilities. It is often chosen as a quieter base than the historic center of Side, while nearby places such as Side Ancient City, Manavgat Waterfall, and Titreyengol are commonly visited on day trips or short excursions.
Access to Kizilagac is mainly by road from Side, Manavgat, and Antalya Airport, the main international gateway for most visitors staying here. Getting around is also largely road-based, with minibuses and buses in the Side-Manavgat corridor, as well as taxis and hotel transfer services. Many visitors walk within resort zones and use road transport for trips beyond the hotel area.

Main visitor areas in Kizilagac
The main place to visit in Kizilagac is Kizilagac Beach, which forms the focus of most stays in the district. The area is geared toward beach resorts, seaside leisure, and family holiday facilities rather than a wide range of independent sights. Nearby places to visit from Kizilagac include Side Ancient City, Manavgat Waterfall, and Titreyengol.
Kizilagac has a low-density layout shaped by large resort compounds along the coast and flatter agricultural land behind the resort strip. Walking is practical within hotel zones and along parts of the coastal tourism road, but the district is more spread out than a compact urban center. The atmosphere is relaxed, family-oriented, and tourism-focused, with many visitors spending most of their time within resort grounds.
Beyond the main attractions, most visitors spend time in hotel restaurants, buffet dining areas, bars, pools, and entertainment spaces. Dining is concentrated within resorts and in tourism-oriented venues along the coastal strip rather than in a large standalone restaurant district. Shopping is generally limited to hotel shops, small bazaars, souvenir shops, beachwear, holiday essentials, and excursion booking points, while evening activity centers more on hotel bars and shows than on independent nightlife.
