Long Beach Kusadasi Travel Guide
Long Beach, Kusadasi
Long Beach is a coastal district on the southern side of Kusadasi in Turkey’s Aegean Region. It lies about 5-7 km south of Kusadasi centre, stretching along a long sandy shoreline on the Aegean coast. The area is flatter than the hillier parts of central Kusadasi, which makes beach access easier.
Known for its long sandy beach, Long Beach is one of the main holiday areas outside Kusadasi’s compact centre. Visitors come mainly for swimming and sunbathing, and the district is used by both short-stay tourists and people staying in apartments, holiday complexes, and hotels. More spread out and more residential in character than the central waterfront, it is geared more toward daytime beach use than nightlife.
Long Beach is easily reached from central Kusadasi by road, and local dolmus minibuses make it practical to visit without a car. Within the district, the seafront road connects beach sections, accommodation, restaurants, and small shops, so most movement follows this coastal strip. The area is also a useful base for planning trips towards Guzelcamli and Dilek Yarimadasi-Buyuk Menderes Deltasi Milli Parki.

Long Beach practical guide
The main places to visit in Long Beach are the long sandy shoreline itself and the linked seafront sections along the coastal road. Beach areas, accommodation, restaurants, and small shops are laid out in a line, so the district is experienced mainly as a coastal strip rather than a compact centre. Many visitors also combine time here with trips into central Kusadasi for shopping, marina areas, and evening entertainment.
Long Beach has a more spread-out layout than central Kusadasi and a stronger residential-holiday character. The terrain is generally flat, making beach access more straightforward, and this practical layout suits families well. The atmosphere centres on daytime seaside use, with less emphasis on nightlife than in the town centre.
Beyond the shoreline, visitors spend time in casual seafront restaurants, cafes, and hotel venues. Small shops along the seafront road cover everyday needs, and the district is used by both short-stay visitors and people staying longer in apartments and holiday complexes. Evenings tend to remain relatively relaxed, while some visitors head into central Kusadasi for more shopping and entertainment.
