Cifte Minareli Medrese is located in the center of Sivas and is among the most notable monuments of the Seljuk period in the city. This madrasa, usually dated to the 13th century, was built as an Islamic educational institution. Today it is known above all for its ceremonial entrance facade, which clearly conveys the scale and artistic techniques of Anatolian architecture of that time.
