Long Beach

Long Beach in Kusadasi, Turkey - a beach area south of the center

Long Beach is a long stretch of shoreline south of the center of Kusadasi, in the direction of Davutlar. The name refers to several neighboring sections of coast rather than one isolated beach. Sandy areas predominate here, with some sections mixed with fine pebbles, and the entry into the sea can vary noticeably from one stretch to another.

This area developed as a resort coastal zone outside the denser urban development. Along the shore are residential complexes, apartment hotels, cafes, shops, and individual beach venues, so the infrastructure is distributed unevenly: alongside lively spots there are also more open sections for quiet relaxation and walks along the water.

For tourists, Long Beach is primarily appealing because of its length and the opportunity to choose a suitable style of отдых. People swim here, spend time by the sea, walk along the shore, and in season some sections offer sunbed and umbrella rentals as well as water activities. In high season, the most convenient and well-equipped areas can be crowded, while sections farther from the popular beach entrances are usually quieter.

Long Beach is also convenient as a base for a seaside stay on the Kusadasi coast. From here, you can get to the promenade and the city center relatively quickly, while to the south are Davutlar and the route toward the Dilek Peninsula National Park, where many visitors go for nature and more secluded coves.

Long Beach in Kusadasi: beach, walks, and seaside relaxation

Here, equipped sections, quiet areas, and long walks along the shore alternate.

Long Beach

An extended coastline for swimming, walking, and relaxing by the sea

The shoreline here stretches for several kilometers, so the impression of the beach depends on the specific section. In some stretches there is more open space by the water and it is easier to settle down with your own towel, while in others the shore is occupied by beach clubs, cafes, and areas with paid sunbeds. Thanks to this length, visitors often choose a spot depending on the time of day, proximity to their accommodation, and the desired level of amenities.

Long Beach is suitable not only for swimming but also for long walks by the sea, especially in the morning and toward evening, when there are fewer people on the shore. On equipped sections, you can usually find showers, changing cabins, cafes, or small shops nearby, although the range of services is not the same along the entire beach line. In season, water activities are available on certain parts of the coast, but their availability depends on the specific operator and the time of year.

Near the beach area are the neighborhoods of Davutlar and the resort districts of southern Kusadasi, and a little farther begins the route toward the Dilek Peninsula National Park. For this reason, a beach trip is often combined with a visit to natural viewpoints, coves, and walking routes in the southern part of the coast.

Long Beach is usually reached from the center of Kusadasi by taxi, car, or local transport heading toward Davutlar. It is more convenient to check the specific beach section in advance, since access points to the shore are located in different places along the entire coastline.
