New Tashkent TV Tower

New Tashkent TV Tower in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

The New Tashkent TV Tower is located in Tashkent and remains one of the city's most recognizable engineering landmarks. Its height is 375 meters, so the tower is clearly visible from different districts of the capital. The structure was built in the late Soviet period: work began in 1978 and was completed in 1985.

The tower's main purpose is related to television and radio broadcasting, as well as the placement of communications equipment and meteorological instruments. At the same time, the TV tower is interesting not only from a technical point of view. For many visitors, it is a convenient place from which to see the layout of modern Tashkent from above and better appreciate the scale of the city.

Inside, there is a decorated foyer, while the upper levels house observation decks and a restaurant complex. The two-level revolving restaurant Koinot is especially well known, with its halls located at approximately 98 and 104 meters. During operation, they gradually rotate around the tower's axis, revealing a panorama of the city.

The TV tower may be of interest to those who want to combine знакомства with urban architecture, engineering, and views of Tashkent. Before visiting, it is worth checking in advance the current visiting procedures, opening hours of the observation levels, and the restaurant, since access conditions may change.

Panorama of Tashkent from a height of more than 90 meters

A visit to the TV tower is usually associated first of all with going up to the observation level. From the height, the city's wide avenues, residential districts, green areas, and large public buildings are clearly visible. In clear weather, the view is especially convenient for those who want to understand the structure of the city and see Tashkent from an unusual angle.

The interior spaces include an entrance area and a foyer with decorative design. The tower's structure itself is also of interest to visitors: it is a large engineering structure with a distinctive silhouette, often photographed both from the outside and from the lower levels of the complex. The Koinot restaurant complements the visit with the opportunity to spend time at height while watching the panorama gradually change.

The TV tower is located in the northern part of Tashkent, not far from the exhibition complex, the water park, and the Japanese Garden, so it is convenient to include it in an itinerary around this part of the city. There are also recreation areas and several notable city sites nearby that can be visited on the same day.

You can usually get here by taxi or public transport from central Tashkent, but before the trip it is better to check the nearest stops and the current entry rules for visitors.
