Orange Grove
Orange Grove in Kemer, Turkey
The Orange Grove is located in the center of Kemer, not far from the urban area and the coast. This area is characterized by a combination of the sea, the foothills of the Taurus Mountains, and stretches of fertile land where citrus fruits were traditionally grown. Such groves were long part of Kemer’s everyday landscape, even before the resort developed actively.
The local Mediterranean climate is well suited to citrus crops. Oranges, mandarins, lemons, and other fruits are grown here, and the groves themselves are a reminder of the town’s agricultural past. Even in and around the central part of Kemer, you can still see areas where a calmer and greener environment has been preserved.
For tourists, the Orange Grove is primarily interesting as a place for a short walk away from the beach and shopping areas of the resort. Here you can see trees typical of the region, feel the contrast between the tourist center and a more traditional way of life, and also notice the natural features of this part of Turkey’s coast.
This is not a separate large park with extensive infrastructure, but rather a green area and part of the local landscape that is best appreciated as part of a walk through the center of Kemer. The grove is suitable for those who want to step away from the busy streets for a while and see the town from a different perspective - through its natural and agricultural surroundings.

Orange Grove and a walk through central Kemer
A place for a peaceful walk among citrus groves and the urban surroundings.
Citrus groves near the streets and the sea
During a walk here, you can see rows of orange trees, dense green foliage, and, in season, ripening fruit. The grove gives an idea of what the surroundings of Kemer looked like before the town became a major resort. It is a peaceful place without a complicated route, where people usually simply walk, photograph the trees, and take a break from the noise of the central streets.
It is best to view this location as part of a city walk rather than as a separate long excursion. During the hottest hours, the shade from the trees is especially noticeable here, while in cooler weather it is comfortable to walk and look at the groves up close. When visiting, it is worth keeping in mind that this is an agricultural and natural area, so it is best to treat the trees and the territory with care.
Nearby are the Kemer promenade, the town center, shops, cafés, and public spaces, so the grove can easily be combined with a walk through the town center. Kemer’s beaches and seaside walking streets are also relatively close.
The grove is usually reached on foot from the center of Kemer if you are already staying in the urban part of the resort. From other areas, it is more convenient to first get to the center of Kemer by local transport or taxi, and then continue on foot.
