Camyuva Beach

Camyuva Beach in Camyuva, Turkey

Camyuva Beach is located in the resort village of Camyuva near Kemer, in southern Turkey, between the Mediterranean coast and the Taurus Mountains. It is one of the beaches on the Kemer coastline, visited for its clean water, open views of the mountain slopes, and calm resort atmosphere. The village is situated not far from the center of Kemer, so the beach is often chosen not only by guests of local hotels, but also by tourists exploring the surrounding area.

The shore here is mostly pebbly, as on many stretches of the coast around Kemer. Thanks to this, the water usually remains clear even at the height of the season. Entry into the sea may not be the gentlest in some places, so many people find it more comfortable to use water shoes for swimming. The beach is suitable for swimming, a short отдых by the sea, and walks along the shore with views of the coastline.

Camyuva is known for its green surroundings: pines, palm trees, oleanders, and other southern plants grow in and around the village. The name "Camyuva" is often translated as "pine nest," and this image conveys the character of the area well. The combination of the pebbly shore, clear sea, and mountain backdrop makes the beach interesting for those who want to see the typical landscape of the Kemer coast.

Part of the beachline belongs to hotels, but there are also public sections. During the tourist season, nearby you will usually find cafes, small shops, sunbed and umbrella rental points, as well as water activity operators. Camyuva Beach is convenient for a quiet seaside holiday and as a base for trips along the coast toward Kemer, Phaselis, and other places in the region.

The beach strip in Camyuva stretches along the village and combines public areas with sections adjoining hotels. The surface is predominantly pebbly, so the water by the shore usually remains clean and easy to see through. In some sections there are piers and equipped areas for entering the sea, which may be more convenient than walking in over large pebbles.

People mainly come here to swim, sunbathe, snorkel near the shore, and use the seasonal services of private operators. In high season, the coast usually offers sunbeds, umbrellas, and showers in equipped sections, as well as water activities that depend on the specific location and time of year. Morning or evening is better for walks, when there are fewer people on the shore and the coastline toward Kemer is more clearly visible.

In Camyuva itself there are cafes, grocery stores, and tourist services, so the beach is convenient for spending a few hours without much preparation. Nearby are the ruins of ancient Phaselis and the cable car to Mount Tahtali, if you want to combine a beach day with a short trip. You can get here from Kemer by bus, minibus, or taxi toward Camyuva.
