Goynuk Village
Goynuk Village in the Goynuk area, Turkey
Goynuk is a resort village north of Kemer, on the Mediterranean coast in Antalya Province. It is located between the sea and the slopes of the Taurus Mountains, making it easy to combine a beach holiday with walks along natural trails. For tourists, Goynuk is convenient because it is close to Kemer and connected by road to Antalya and other resorts along the coast.
The village began to develop actively as part of Antalya’s resort area at the end of the 20th century, when new hotels, roads, and tourist infrastructure appeared on the coast. At the same time, Goynuk retained the format of a small resort settlement, where residential buildings, hotels, shops, and cafés are spread along the coastal strip and at the foot of the mountains.
The main feature of Goynuk is the combination of pebble beaches, pine greenery, citrus orchards, and nearby mountain landscapes. A section of the Lycian Way, one of Turkey’s most famous hiking routes, passes nearby, and the Goynuk Canyon is located in the surrounding area and is often visited during short trips from the village.
Goynuk is interesting for those looking for a quiet base for a seaside holiday and trips around the Kemer area. From here, it is easy to reach natural attractions, viewpoints in the mountains, and neighboring resort villages without giving up the usual tourist infrastructure.

Beaches, mountain routes, and a canyon near the coast
In Goynuk, tourists usually spend time on the beach, walk around the village, and head out to natural sites in the surrounding area. The coast here is mostly pebbly, the sea is clear, and just beyond the line of hotels and roads, views of the mountain slopes quickly appear. In the central part of the village, there are shops, cafés, rental points, and other everyday services that are convenient to use during a holiday.
One of the best-known places nearby is Goynuk Canyon. Those who prefer calm walks will enjoy the roads and trails leading toward the foothills, from where views open over the coast and the surroundings of Kemer.
The village is also convenient for short trips along the coast. From here, you can go to Kemer, to the ruins of ancient Phaselis, to Beldibi, or toward the cable car station on Mount Tahtali. Thanks to the proximity of the D400 highway, Goynuk can be reached by car, transfer, or bus from Antalya and Kemer.
