Kugulu Park is located in the Kavaklidere district, near Tunali Hilmi Street, in the central part of Ankara. It is a compact urban park that has long become a notable point on the map of the Cankaya district. Its Turkish name, Kugulu Park, is usually translated as “the park with swans,” which refers to the pond and waterfowl that have become the main feature of this place.

The park is known above all for its small pond, where you can see swans, ducks, and other birds. Around the pond there are walking paths, benches, lawns, and mature trees that provide shade during the warmer months. In scale, this is not a large park for long walks, but a convenient public space for a short stop in the city center.
