Ulugh Beg Madrasah is located on Registan Square in the center of Samarkand and is considered one of the key architectural monuments of the Timurid era in Uzbekistan. It was built in the first half of the 15th century by order of the ruler and scholar Ulugh Beg, who paid great attention to the development of education and science.
