Kemer Bay
Kemer Bay in Kemer, Turkey
Kemer Bay is located off the coast of the resort town of Kemer, in the central part of the town, where a marina, urban beaches, and seaside promenades are combined within a small area. This stretch of coastline belongs to the Turkish Riviera and is known for the contrast between the pebble shore, clear water, and the nearby slopes of the Taurus Mountains.
Kemer as a resort developed actively in the second half of the 20th century, when a small coastal settlement turned into one of the main tourist centers of Antalya Province. The bay and the adjacent promenade became an important part of urban life: sightseeing boats depart from here, swimming areas are concentrated here, and cafés, shops, and tourist infrastructure are located nearby.
For travelers, the bay is interesting primarily for its convenient location and the opportunity to combine a beach holiday with short walks through the center of Kemer. The water here is usually clean, the shore is mostly pebbly, and in the surrounding area there are both equipped beach sections and quieter spots along the rocky coastline. In good weather, there are views of the sea, yachts, and mountain slopes from here.
The bay is suitable for those planning swimming, boat trips, snorkeling, or relaxing by the water without long transfers. Near Kemer are the natural areas of Beydaglari National Park, and the coastline itself is often noted for the cleanliness of its water and the upkeep of its beach areas, including sections that have received the Blue Flag certification.

Pebble shore, marina, and access to boat trips
At the bay in central Kemer, the shore is mostly pebbly, so the water at the water’s edge often remains clear even at the height of the season. For swimming, people usually use the equipped urban beaches and platforms by the water, and in the marina area you can watch sightseeing yachts and boats heading along the coast to neighboring bays.
This place is convenient for those who want to spend a few hours by the sea without complicated logistics. Here you can swim, sunbathe, go on short boat excursions, and in calm weather go snorkeling near the rocky sections of the shore. For diving, organized trips are more often chosen to sites outside the urban part of the coastline, where the seabed relief is more interesting and underwater visibility is better.
During a walk along the bay, you can combine time by the sea with a visit to the promenade, the marina, and the central streets of Kemer. Nearby are Moonlight Park, beach areas along the town limits, and the cable car to Tahtali, which is usually reached by transport from the town.
Getting to the bay is easy on foot from most hotels in central Kemer, and from other parts of the resort people usually come here by taxi, dolmus, or bus to the town center.
